- 153 business checks were made. 1 unsecured door was found.

INCIDENTS OF INTEREST
- Trespassing (Schooner Ridge Drive)
On June 1, 2025, officers were dispatched in this area after trespassers were seen on a surveillance camera. Officers arrived and advised the offenders to remain off the property.
- General Law (Duck Road)
On June 2, 2025, officers were informed of a substantial water leak caused by recent utility work. Officers turned the water off to prevent further damage then informed the homeowner of the leak. The homeowner was advised that this was a civil matter between the homeowner and the utility contractor.
- Noise Disturbance (Baldpate Drive)
On June 2, 2025, officers were dispatched to this address for a noise disturbance. Upon arrival, officers determined there was a violation of the Town Ordinance. Officers issued a warning and the occupants complied. No additional violations were detected for the remainder of the week.
- Noise Disturbance (Scarborough Lane Beach Access)
On June 3, 2025, officers responded to the beach access for reports of loud music. Upon arrival, officers determined there was a violation of the Town Ordinance. Officers issued a warning and the beach patrons complied. No additional violations were detected for the remainder of the week.
TRAFFIC CRASHES
- Lala Court
On June 1, 2025, officers responded after a juvenile’s foot was run over by a trailer that was being pulled by a truck. A North Carolina crash report was filed. The juvenile was taken to Urgent Care by a parent.
- Parking Lot of 1209 Duck Road
On June 2, 2025, a hit and run occurred at this location. Upon investigation, the suspect was located and charged with leaving the scene of a crash. A North Carolina crash report was filed.
- Duck Road / Near 1186 Duck Road
On June 4, 2025, a collision resulting in minor property damage occurred on Duck Road. A North Carolina crash report was filed.
- Duck Road / Near 1174 Duck Road
On June 6, 2025, a bicycle entered a crosswalk from the sidewalk abruptly which gave the driver of a vehicle insufficient time to avoid striking the bicyclist. The collision was minor, knocking the bicyclist down, but EMS was not requested. The bicycle and the vehicle sustained little damage. A North Carolina crash report was filed.
