TRAFFIC

  • Officers issued 44 traffic enforcement actions during the week. 

PROPERTY CHECKS

  • 156 business checks were made. 1 unsecured door was found.
  • 7 extra patrols were requested by out-of-town property owners this week.      

INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

  • Loitering (Duck Road)

On November 12, 2025, officers responded regarding a homeless person loitering on the property. Management did not want the person trespassed, but they did ask that the person leave for the remainder of the day. The subject was compliant with officers and left upon request. 

  • Mental Health Crisis (Address Withheld For Privacy)

On November 14, 2025, officers responded after an adult female reported that members of the Sinaloa Cartel were sneaking onto her residence at night and living in her attic. Officers contacted the Department of Social Services for assistance.

  • Larceny (Duck Road)

On November 14, 2025, officers responded to a reported larceny, which occurred when the suspect took a pocketknife out of its packaging, concealed it, then exited the store without paying for the knife. The larceny was captured by a surveillance camera, which led to identification of the suspect. Management did not wish to pursue charges but asked that the suspect be trespassed from the business.

  • Found Property (Hatch Cover Court)

On November 15, 2025, officers responded to the above address after a handgun was discovered by a cleaning inspector. Contact was made with the owner of the handgun, and the procedure for retrieving the weapon was explained to him.

TRAFFIC CRASHES

  • Duck Road / Nor’Banks Drive  

On November 11, 2025, officers responded to a crash between a vehicle and a deer. The driver was unable to stop before colliding with the animal which resulted in a collision.
