Bias Speaker Series: Services and Collections at the Outer Banks History Center

Join us for a presentation by Tammy Woodward, Director of the Outer Banks History Center (OBHC) about the OBHC, a regional archives and research library in Manteo, NC. Administered by the State Archives of North Carolina, the OBHC collects, preserves, and provides public access to historical materials documenting the coastal region’s history and culture. This event will explore the OBHC’s extensive collections, including manuscripts, print, audiovisual, and electronic resources, as well as the services offered, such as reference assistance, scanning, and reproduction of historic materials. Attendees will learn about the center’s mission, the types of resources available, and how to access them for research.
A light reception is offered at 6:30 p.m. with the presentation beginning at 7:00 p.m.
