Sprinkles the Elf

The addition of our Christmas in July brings some brand new programs to the Duck Amphitheater. Sprinkles the Elf is traveling down from the North Pole to share stories with everyone.

We are thrilled to partner with Lights of Christmas during the inaugural “Christmas in July” event series. From the beginning, their mission has been to shine a positive light on the uniform and be a blessing to our community—serving as the heart, hands, and feet of Jesus. Over the years, Lights of Christmas has grown, evolved, and adapted as they continue working to live up to their original vision.

Whether stepping in during a family’s crisis—like the loss of a loved one, a medical diagnosis, job loss, or a divorce—or simply showing up to shift the perception of law enforcement by reminding people there’s a human behind the badge with a heart of gold, they have always led with compassion and care.

They operate entirely through donations and individuals or groups “adopting” families, meeting the needs without repeating families and, by God’s grace, never having to turn anyone away. Each year, they turn to the community to help them find families who could use a Christmas blessing—where having gifts provided for their children would ease the burden during a tough season. The biggest year to date? They were able to bless 95 children!
