On Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at 1:00 p.m., the Town Council of the Town of Duck will conduct a public hearing and consider the following text amendment ordinance:
ORD 25-001: The proposed amendment would update penalties for violating the tree and vegetation preservation standards in Subsection 156.137(J) of the Town Code by reducing the minimum size of replacement trees from a three-inch (3”) caliper to a two-inch (2”) caliper. The overall amount of the penalty would remain the same.
