Below is a recap of the February Town Council Meeting:
- Town Manager Drew Havens was recognized for 5 years of service with the Town
- Police Corporal John Gilreath was presented with the Fourth Quarter Town of Duck SOAR Award
- Gray Berryman and Amy Denson of First Flight Track Club gave a short presentation on the 2025 Duck Turkey Trot, noting that it was a huge success
- Council held 4 public hearings for Ordinance 26-01 through 26-04 and voted to adopt Ordinance 26-01 through 26-03 unanimously. Ordinance 26-04 was adopted with a vote of 4-1 with Councilor Murray dissenting
- Council appointed Frank Douglas to fill the unexpired vacancy on the Board of Adjustment for a term to end July 1, 2028
- The next meeting will be the Retreat on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 24-25, 2026 at 9:00am
