Below is a recap from the March 4, 2026 Town Council meeting:
- Council accepted a $5,000 check from the Outer Banks Association of Realtors for the Town’s septic health initiative
- Council appointed Irine Devroude to fill the unexpired vacancy on the Planning Board for a term to end May 1, 2028
- Council approved a budget amendment to appropriate the Fund Balance in the amount of $1,769,492 and increase the Fire Department Capital Outlay budget by the same amount
- Council accepted the proposal from Atlantic Emergency Solutions to purchase a 2027 Pierce Enforcer 107-foot aerial for $1,769,492 and authorized the Town Manager to sign the agreement
- The next meeting will be the Regular meeting on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 1:00pm
