TRAFFIC

  • Officers issued 22 traffic enforcement actions during the week. 

PROPERTY CHECKS

  • 143 business checks were made. 2 unsecured doors were found.
  • 2 extra patrols were requested by out-of-town property owners this week.     

INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

  • Town Ordinance Violation (Sound Sea Avenue)

On April 7, 2025, officers received a report of a dog owner not curbing their dog.  The dog owner was found and the incident was rectified.

  • Road Rage (Duck Road)

On April 8, 2025, officers were stopped by a passing motorist on Duck Road reporting a tailgating vehicle. The vehicle in question also stopped to speak with the officer. The two drivers were able to come to an amicable agreement and no further action was required.

  • No traffic crashes were reported this week.
