TRAFFIC

  • Officers issued 11 traffic enforcement actions during the week. 

PROPERTY CHECKS

  • 135 business checks were made. 3 unsecured doors were found.
  • 46 Seasonal property checks were made. No unsecured doors were found.
  • 2 extra patrols were requested by out-of-town property owners this week.      

INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

  • Suspicious Condition (Duck Ridge Village Court)

On February 14 and 16, 2025, officers were dispatched to this address for suspicious conditions. Both situations involved concerns for unknown people being around this address without permission. Officers identified the people and resolved the situation without incident.

  • Suspicious Vehicle (Duck Road)

On February 14, 2025, officers on patrol noticed a suspicious vehicle with two juvenile occupants parked in the Town Park parking lot after dark. The juveniles were asked to leave, and they did so without incident.

  • Suspicious Condition (Speckle Trout Drive)

On February 15, 2025, officers were dispatched to this address for a possible breaking and entering. Upon investigation it was found that a break-in had not occurred, but entry did involve a prior tenant. It was found that the prior tenant was no longer in the area and this case was resolved without enforcement action.

TRAFFIC CRASHES

  • Parking Lot (Duck Road)

On February 10, 2025, two vehicles were involved in a minor traffic crash in the parking lot of Kellogg’s Supply. No injuries were reported.
