TRAFFIC

  • Officers issued 15 traffic enforcement actions during the week. 

PROPERTY CHECKS

  • 139 business checks were made. 1 unsecured door was found.
  • 2 extra patrols were requested by out-of-town property owners this week.      

INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

  • Suspicious Vehicle (Duck Road)

On February 24, 2026, officers located an unoccupied vehicle running in the parking lot during late-night hours. Officers were able to locate the driver who advised he was in the process of switching company vehicles around.

  • Open Door/Window (Mallard Drive)

On February 27, 2026, officers were dispatched to an open door at a residence. The caller advised the door was secure when they last departed. The residence was checked by officers, and no signs of forced entry were located.

  • Animal Call (Speckle Trout Drive)

On February 28, 2026, officers were dispatched to an injured Gannet on the beach. Wildlife officials advised officers not to interfere with the bird.
