- Officers issued 23 traffic enforcement actions during the week.
PROPERTY CHECKS
- 168 business checks were made. 2 unsecured doors were found.
- 84 Seasonal property checks were made. 5 unsecured doors were found.
- 9 extra patrols were requested by out-of-town property owners this week.
INCIDENTS OF INTEREST
- Breaking and Entering of Auto (Duck Road)
On January 7, 2026, officers responded after learning that a cellular phone was found in a churchgoer’s vehicle after services. The responding officers linked the phone to the juvenile suspect involved in another vehicle breaking and entering that recently occurred. This case remains under investigation and additional charges are pending.
- Open Door (South Spinnaker Court)
On January 10, 2026, officers responded after a delivery driver observed the front door of the above home was standing open. Officers arrived on scene, cleared the residence, and confirmed that there were no signs of criminal activity. The officers secured the home upon exit.
- Suspicious Condition (North Snow Geese Drive)
On January 10, 2026, officers responded to a car alarm sounding at this address. The reporting party was concerned that there was criminal activity taking place in the area. Officers arrived on scene and determined the alarm was false.
