TRAFFIC

PROPERTY CHECKS

  • 159 business checks were made. No unsecured doors were found.

INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

  • Larceny (Sea Colony Drive)

On March 17, 2026, officers responded after a homeowner reported numerous belongings missing from a condominium that is rented out. The complainant did not want the larceny investigated but wanted it documented. The responding officer completed an incident report.

  • Dispute (Acorn Oak Avenue)

On March 18, 2026, officers responded to a dispute between roommates. One of the subjects had become irate and aggressive, but not physical, with the other party. The parties agreed to stay separated until alternative living arrangements could be found.

  • Dispute (Nash Road)

On March 18, 2026, officers responded to the above address regarding an irate juvenile who was destroying property inside the residence. The complainant was advised of the involuntary commitment process, but no action was taken. The officers’ request for immediate secure custody was denied by the North Carolina Division of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention. Dare County Mobile Crisis agreed to respond and assist. The parties were separating and the juvenile voluntarily left the residence to stay with a friend. The following day, the juvenile moved out.
