TRAFFIC

  • Officers issued 25 traffic enforcement actions during the week.

PROPERTY CHECKS

  • 150 business checks were made. 2 unsecured doors were found.
  • 94 Seasonal property checks. 2 unsecured doors were found.
  • 2 extra patrols were requested by out-of-town property owners this week.     

INCIDENTS OF INTEREST

  • Suspicious Condition (Four Seasons Lane)

On March 2, 2025, officers observed a vehicle with the doors open and items hanging out of the vehicle with no one around. Officers located the owner of the vehicle and determined they were moving. Everything was okay.

  • Suspicious Vehicle (Duck Road)

On March 5, 2025, officers on patrol noticed a vehicle with parking lights on sitting in a parking lot late at night. Officers made contact with the driver and determined they were working for a ride sharing service. 

  • Suspicious Condition (Duck Landing Lane)

On March 5, 2025, officers observed an open door under the front steps of a residence and glass in the driveway. The door led to what appeared to be a storage area that was not connected to the residence.  The residence was checked and it was secure.

  • Child Abuse (Duck Road)

On March 8, 2025, officers were dispatched to the above listed location in reference to possible child abuse.  Officers made contact with the mother who advised her children were acting up and she was disciplining them. Officers made contact with the children, and they advised that they were disobeying their mother.  No signs of child abuse were observed.

  • Suspicious Condition (Bayberry Drive)

On March 8, 2025, officers were dispatched to the above listed location after the homeowner saw several people on her property on her security camera. Officers arrived and observed a large piece of siding that came off the residence due to the storm. The homeowner was advised of the officer’s findings.
