PROPERTY CHECKS
- 114 business checks were made. No unsecured doors were found.
- 1 extra patrol was requested by an out-of-town property owner this week.
INCIDENTS OF INTEREST
- Sexual Assault (Unknown Location)
On November 2, 2025, Outer Banks Hospital nursing staff contacted on-duty officers to advise that a patient alleged they had been sexually assaulted in the Town of Duck. The patient refused to report the incident and wished to remain anonymous. Nursing staff refused to provide any information about the patient citing HIPAA. The patient had been discharged prior to the call.
- Welfare Check (Wampum Drive)
On November 3, 2025, a caller reported their spouse was unconscious in the residence. Prior to the officer’s arrival, the caller advised dispatch that the individual had awoken and had previously consumed too much alcohol. Contact was made with both parties, and they declined any further action.
- Drug Violation (Duck Road)
On November 6, 2025, following a motor vehicle stop, the driver was issued a written warning for possession of marijuana.
