This grounding meditation class provides a calm, supportive environment for individuals seeking relief from stress and anxiety through guided mindfulness practices. Facilitated by licensed therapist Gigi DeMasi, the session uses evidence-informed grounding techniques designed to help regulate the nervous system, reduce physiological stress responses, and foster a sense of emotional stability. Participants will be gently guided to shift attention away from anxious thought patterns and into present-moment awareness, supporting increased clarity and inner calm.
The class incorporates grounding meditation, intentional breathwork, and somatic awareness to help release tension held in the body and create a greater sense of safety and ease. These practices can support improved emotional regulation, reduced anxiety symptoms, and enhanced resilience to daily stressors. Participants will also learn practical grounding tools that can be used outside of class during moments of stress or overwhelm. Suitable for all experience levels, this class offers a restorative space to reset, reconnect, and cultivate lasting calm and balance.
