- Council adopted Resolution 26-08, declaring the week of May 11-17, 2026, as National Memorial Police Week
- Council adopted a contract with Coastal Protection Engineering for the 2026 annual beach monitoring services
- Fire Chief Matthew Dudek, Master Firefighter Louis Brock and Master Firefighter Matthew Quinn each received the First Quarter Town of Duck SOAR award
- Council held a public hearing on the proposed Fiscal Year 2026-2027 budget. The draft budget is set to be adopted at their June 3, 2026, meeting
- Council adopted Resolution 26-03, revising the personnel policies
- Council reappointed Bob Wetzel and Bob Webb to a three-year term on the Planning Board to expire on May 1, 2029
- Council adopted Resolution 26-10, amending the financial and budgetary policies
