We are excited to announce that the Duck Police Department is bringing National Night Out to the Town! This annual community-building event is designed to strengthen partnerships between local law enforcement and the community, with the goal of making our neighborhoods safer and more connected.
National Night Out is typically celebrated with fun gatherings where community members and police officers come together to discuss crime prevention, raise awareness of safety issues, and foster a sense of community spirit.

This event offers an opportunity to speak directly with Duck PD officers, learn about their work, and gain a deeper understanding of public safety operations within the community.
Get Involved in Community Safety
Residents will also have the chance to learn how they can support local safety efforts through:
- Participation in the Community Watch Program, helping to strengthen neighborhood awareness and engagement.
- Registering home security cameras, enabling the Duck PD Investigator to more efficiently gather investigative information when incidents occur.
