The victim paid a deposit, but despite a confirmation the day before the course, the chef failed to show up. This case has been turned over to our investigator for  further investigation.

  • Fraud (Duck Road)

  • E-Bike Enforcement Action (Duck Road)

On May 16, 2026, an officer observed an unlicensed electric motorcycle operating in Town. The rider believed the vehicle qualified as an e-bike, but the investigating officer determined that the motorcycle, which lacked operable pedals, had a motor output of between 7,500 and 9,500 watts and was capable of speeds up to 50 mph. The rider was warned not to operate the vehicle until it was registered and insured, and only after the rider obtained a motorcycle endorsement. The officer observed the same rider, riding the same electric motorcycle, on the multi-use path a day later. The rider was issued a criminal citation.
